Polish Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the International Network for Government Science Advice (INGSA) and Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites to participate in a workshop entitled “African Swine Fever – the Role of Science Advice”. The workshop will take place on 6 June 2019.
The Institute for Human Sciences (Institut für die Wissenschaften vom Menschen, IWM) and Polish Academy of Sciences are inviting researchers to take part in „ERC Mentoring Initiative” workshop in Vienna on 14-15 June 2019. The event is supported by Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The European Federation of Academies of Sciences and Humanities (ALLEA), the European University Association (EUA) and Science Europe issued a joint statement on the urgent need to back commitments to academic freedom and university autonomy with solid actions. The three partners, representing a vast section of Europe’s research and higher education system, maintain that academic freedom and institutional autonomy are of fundamental importance and value to society.
