Structure Polish Academy of Sciences

On 9 April 2015, the journal Nature carried an obituary of the recently deceased Zofia Kielan-Jaworowska, an ordinary member of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) and a retired professor at the PAS Institute of Paleobiology. This is a very rare (if not unique) case in which the lifetime achievements of a Polish researcher working in Poland have earned such prestigious international recognition.

During the working visit, the 22-d and 23-d of February 2016 the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Warsaw representatives met the Polish Academy of Sciences authorities and visited the PAS Institute of Physical Chemistry and the PAS Institute and Museum of Zoology.
