Structure Polish Academy of Sciences

In connection with Russia’s military aggression on Ukraine and the brutal violation of international agreements and standards in force in the civilized world, the Polish academic community strongly condemns the attack on our neighbor and the use of violence against its people.

We express our full solidarity with all Ukrainian people and support for Ukraine as a sovereign state, and declare all possible help in these difficult times. At the same time, we appeal to the authorities of the Ministry of Education and Science to launch, in cooperation with the National Agency for Academic Exchange, special measures, including legal ones, to support Ukrainian scientists, doctoral candidates and students who wish to continue their activities at Polish universities.

The Polish academic community will further intensify and develop all forms of cooperation with our Ukrainian academic partners.

Заява академічної спільноти Польщі у зв’язку з агресією Росії проти України (24.02) 

У зв’язку з військовою агресією Росії проти України та брутальним порушенням міжнародних угод і стандартів, що діють у цивілізованому світі, польська наукова спільнота рішуче засуджує напад на нашого сусіда та застосування насильства проти нього.

Висловлюємо нашу повну солідарність з усім українським народом і підтримуємо Україну як суверенну державу, заявляємо про всю можливу допомогу в ці важкі часи. Водночас звертаємося до органів Міністерства освіти і науки (Польщі) з проханням розпочати у співпраці з Національним агентством академічного обміну спеціальні заходи, у тому числі юридичні, для підтримки українських науковців, докторантів та студентів, які бажають продовжувати діяльність у польських університетах.

Польська академічна спільнота посилюватиме та розвиватиме всі форми співпраці з нашими українськими академічними партнерами.
