PhD student of The Nencki Institute, Ryszard Cetnarski, from Laboratory of Neurobiology of Vision lead by Prof. Wioletta Waleszczyk, is a co-author of the paper entitled: "Precursors of logical reasoning in preverbal human infants", published in Science magazine.
In the April issue of Cell journal, a paper entitled “Machine Learning Identifies Stemness Features Associated with Oncogenic Dedifferentiation” was published. Its co-author is Professor Bożena Kamińska, Head of the laboratory of Molecular Neurobiology at Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology.
On 6 April 2018 at the headquarters of the Sapienza University of Rome the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences Prof. Jerzy Duszyński awarded the Medal of the Polish Academy of Sciences to outstanding Italian psychopharmacologist Prof. Alberto Oliverio, in recognition of his exceptional merits to the development of science, both in Poland and worldwide, in particular for his understanding for the social role of science.
