Water practitioners and researchers met in Warsaw to discuss innovative solutions and the future of the water sector in Poland. Water Festival conference took place as part of the International Trade Fair of the Municipal Industry.
On 11-13 September 2018 the delegation of the Polish Academy of Sciences, headed by its president Jerzy Duszyński, took part in the annual Visegrad Group Academies Forum, which was organised by the Czech Academy of Sciences in Liblice near Prague.
Katarzyna Piwocka from the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology has been elected to a two-year term (2018-2020) as the Co-Chair of the ISAC Marylou Ingram Scholars Committee of the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC).
