PASIFIC

PASIFIC (Polish Academy of Sciences’ Individual Fellowships: Innovation & Creativity) is a new fellowship programme at the Polish Academy of Sciences. It will provide 50 scientists of any nationality with an opportunity to gain two years of research experience at one of the institutes  of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS). The applicants will have freedom to choose their research area, a research supervisor, Host Institute and secondment organisations best suited to their individual research and career development.

Competitive Postdoctoral Scheme

The PASIFIC Programme is an attractive opportunity for experienced researchers who want to undertake  state-of-the-art research in an interesting and dynamic scientific environment. The Programme  will allow them to build their  scientific independence and will give them opportunity to conduct ground-breaking research which will hopefully lead to interesting results and publications. This  will strengthen their position in the scientific community. It is expected that fellows will create long-term scientific collaborations which will continue after the duration of their fellowships.

Each fellow will be hosted at the PAS institute of their choice for a period of 2 years. Successful candidates will be provided with excellent conditions to carry out their research projects. Fellows will be offered a monthly allowance of 4 125 EUR and, if applicable, a family allowance of 300 EUR/month. PASIFIC will also provide a budget for research up to 60 000 EUR per project. PASIFIC fellows will benefit from comprehensive mentoring and training offer providing a variety of development opportunities.

The Fellows will be hosted at the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS), which is one of the most prominent research institution and the largest scientific network in Poland.
