Open day at the Nencki Institute

On May 9th at the Nencki Institute, there was an organised Open Day.

The event opened with dr hab. Monika Liguz-Lęcznar, deputy Director for scientific research. Information on doctoral studies was presented by prof. Daniel Wójcik, Head of PhD Studies, and representatives of the Nencki’s PhD Students Council. The guests also listened to a lecture by dr Paweł Boguszewski entitled The brain - the biggest puzzle? and Karolina Stępniak’s presentation Genome-wide profiling of open chromatin in gliomas.

The guests then visited 8 chosen labs: Biochemistry of Lipids, Intracellular Ion Channels, Molecular Medical Biochemistry, Cellular Metabolism, Cell Biophysics, Neurobiology of Vision, Bioinformatics and Neuroinformatics

We wish the PhD candidates all the best, and invite them to participate in upcoming events at the Institute.
