Funding
Each year the Polish Academy of Sciences funds a number of study visits of Polish researchers abroad, as well as research stays of foreign researchers in Poland.

We are suspending the possibility of co-financing the registration fee for participation in online conferences, due to the reactivation of researcher mobility.
Also, we offer a program of short-term study visits. The main intention of the study visit program is to support scientific exchange and to establish or broaden contacts between scientists from Poland and scientists and researchers working abroad. The purpose of the maximum 6-day visits may be to give a lecture, to conduct a seminar, to work on a grant application or joint publications, etc. Detailed rules of the call for applications and evaluation can be found here.
Please note that, since 2017 the Polish Academy of Sciences offers fellowships of the Polish Institute of Advanced Studies (PIASt) in the fields of social sciences and humanities. For more details please see: piast.pan.pl/en/.
