The Academy’s highest governing body is General Assembly, a gathering consisting of all national members of the Academy. The General Assembly of the Academy directs the work of the Academy and supervises its whole activity, making resolutions binding on other bodies of the Academy.
The General Assembly of the Academy may make statements on issues of importance to the nation and the State.
The General Assembly is led by the President of the Academy. He convenes the sessions of the General Assembly at least twice a year.
When the Assembly is not in session, responsibility for all strategic decisions is delegated to the Presidium of the Academy (led by the President).
