Meeting with representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
The members of the COVID-19 Advisory Team to the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, together with the members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine launched a dedicated collaboration on information exchange on COVID-19 pandemic between Poland and Ukraine.
The aim of the above-mentioned collaboration is the joint analysis of the current epidemiological situation in both countries, inter alia: the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 variants, the methods of epidemic spread modelling, the progress on vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 etc. During the meeting, up to date information on the coronavirus situation in Poland and Ukraine was discussed. Future cooperation, as well as further steps and dedicated actions are to be tackled by the thematic teams composed of the representatives of both Academies.
The online meeting was held on 28th May 2021.
Starting from June 2020, the Covid-19 Advisory Team to the President of the PAS has published 15 position statements. Experts formulated recommendations not only for public services, but also for society. Position statements of the COVID-19 Advisory Team are available on this website.
