ERC workshop with Key Innovations

Polish researchers planning to apply for ERC Starting or Consolidator grants will have the unique opportunity to participate in the upcoming Key Innovations workshop. Free of charge ERC training, organized by the PAS Excellence in Science Department is scheduled for early December 2020.

Who is the training for?

The ERC training is addressed to scholars of all disciplines who have an interesting research idea and, to be able to carry it out, apply for funding from the European Research Council. The training is highly recommended for individuals who plan to submit applications in the next editions of the Starting or Consolidator Grant. All participants must have a minimum of doctoral degree awarded no later than 2019.

Workshop agenda

The workshop will be held remotely (via Zoom) on December 8, 2020, from 9.00 to 13.00. It will consist of five modules exploring the most critical issues encountered while submitting the ERC applications. The following aspects will be discussed: ERC evaluation process and criteria, ways to describe the novel methodology and to estimate budget. Participants will also have the chance to learn how to present their achievements in the most advantageous way. Furthermore, they will receive hints on how to select the right panel and how to target their reviewers.

About Key Innovations

Key Innovations is a coaching company that offers commercial assistance to scholars applying for the European Research Council grants. This international company with offices in London, Greece, and Cyprus has organized workshops in over thirty countries. December workshop will be the first to be coached by Key Innovations in Poland.

Obligatory online registration

To take part in the ERC workshop, register via the online form by 8.30, December 4, 2020.

Please note that the number of online participants is limited to one hundred. Thus, the organizer will select candidates based on the information submitted via the registration form in case of receiving more applications. Successful applicants will be notified on Friday, December 4.
