An important voice of the PAS representative at the ESOF 2020 conference
How science is helping us advance today? This is one of the topics discussed by the participants of a prestigious conference ESOF in Trieste (Italy). Among speakers is Dr. Jacek Kolanowski from the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The European Science Open Forum (ESOF 2020) is the largest and most important European event dedicated to research and innovation. This year's edition runs from 2 to 6 September. It takes place in Trieste - a city that in 2020 holds the honorable title of the European City of Science. Every year, the Congress gathers thousands of leading scientists from various fields, business people, policy makers, science and technology communicators and the general public interested in science
Dr Jacek Kolanowski, representative of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Young Scientists Academy, will take part in the panel session "Brain Drain - Brain Gain - Brain Circulation". The discussion will focus on the migration of highly skilled individuals and the prospects of international scientific mobility in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
