Editors of Mammal Research journal recognized for editorial excellence

Springer Nature publisher awarded top editorial staff (based on the authors' satisfaction survey). Editors of Mammal Research journal scored in the top performing journals. The journal is associated with the Mammal Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Białowieża. Congratulations!

The editor-in-chief is Karol Zub, Professor at the PAS Mammal Research Institute. He leads a research team consisting of scientists from the PAS Institute and 10 scientists from abroad, including  Argentina, Brazil, China, Denmark, Spain, Japan, Germany, South Africa, Great Britain and the US.

"Mammal Research" is an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal published on behalf of Mammal Research Institute by Springer. It is one of the leading journals dedicated to mammal research. It covers all aspects of wild mammal biology, including genetics, ecology, behaviour, bioenergetics, morphology, development, reproduction, nutrition, physiology, paleontology and evolution.

The first issue of the journal under the name Acta Theriologica was published in 1955. Thanks to the cooperation between Mammal Research Institute and the Springer publishing house, the visibility of the journal improved so it reaches a wider audience.
