Meeting with National Institutes of Health representatives

At the initiative of Prof. Andrzej Górski, Ordinary Member of the Academy, on 25 March 2019 Polish Academy of Sciences hosted delegates of the USA National Institutes of Health: F. Gray Handley, M.S.P.H., Associate Director for International Research Affairs, Joseph Campbell, Ph.D., Office of Biodefense Research Resources and Translational Research Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases and Joyelle Dominique, M.S., M.B.A., Regional Officer, Europe and Multilateral Affairs Office of Global Research.

 

The meeting was opened by Prof. Jerzy Duszyński, the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The Academy was represented also by Prof. Stanisław J. Czuczwar, PAS Vice-President, Prof. Witold Rużyłło, Dean of Division V of Medical Sciences, Prof. Marek Konarzewski, Science Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Poland and Corresponding Member of the Academy and representatives of PAS Institutes including: Prof. Leonora Bużańska and Prof. Monika Puzianowska-Kuźnicka from Mossakowski Medical Research Centre of the PAS, Prof. Michał Witt from the Institute of Human Genetics of the PAS, Prof. Jarosław Dziadek from the Institute of Medical Biology of the PAS and Dr. Jan Manuel Rodriguez-Parkitna from the Institute of Pharmacology of the PAS.
