Success of prof. A. Bieganowski Team from Institute of Agrophysics, PAS

The team of prof. Andrzej Bieganowski suggested improvement of the method of determining the stability of soil aggregates based on the results of changes in the median of granulometric distribution measured by the laser diffraction method, previously developed by himself (Clay Minerals 2010, 45, 23-34).

The proposed improved method not only allows faster determination of the stability of soil aggregates, but also extends measurement capabilities by distinguishing the stability of aggregates, which in the previously used methods (wet-sieving method) were described as stable / waterproof. The work was accepted for prestigious publication in Land Degradation and Development (IF: 9.787; 50 pkt MNiSW).
