Workshop with Yellow Research about ERC grants

Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) invites scientists to participate in a free of charge workshop held by Yellow Research. For over 30 years Yellow Research advises how to effectively apply for European grants, including a prestigious funding from the European Research Council (ERC). The workshop will take place on Wednesday, the 27th of May 2020 in Warsaw (or remotely). It is organized by the Excellence in Science Department of the PAS, which actively supports scientists in applying for ERC grants.

During the workshop, the following issues will be discussed:

  • ERC objectives and evaluation criteria,
  • research proposal – what kind of ideas are expected by the ERC expects,
  • differences between parts B1 and B2 of a proposal,
  • researcher excellence – how to convincingly present PI’s achievements,
  • structure of a successful application: how to present a CV and a research project in an interesting and persuasive way.

Yellow Research trainings

The workshop will be held by an experienced trainer Lotte Jaspers, a founding partner of Yellow Research. For the past 30 years, she has gained a broad practical experience in writing successful grant applications and Intellectual Property Rights management. She has supported hundreds of scientists with their applications for national and European funding, including ERC proposals. Also, she assisted researchers while preparing for interviews in Brussels. Her support is addressed to scientists from all research areas and at every stage of the scientific carrier.
